About Sandis Albums Sandis Albums has been in business close to 25 years. More recently, (December 2005), the company was bought by Bataleur Industries, a private company owned by Jane & Craig Lauder. We have a manufacturing facility in Toronto, Canada, and a small, but highly dedicated staff. Most of them have been with the company for over 20 years, and have advanced bookmaking skills. Our objective is to be a friendly and knowledgeable resource for photographers across Canada, as well as to our customers in the US, and in doing so help you drive profitability through increased sales. The digital world has changed the wedding industry, and with it the photographers business models. This has had a big impact on album and other “add on” product sales. However, our ongoing experience is telling us that there are still great opportunities to increase your revenue through the sale of albums. This is where we are trying to be a resource to the photographer – by helping not just with an increased product range, but also by trying to create product and services to suit the new business models. As photographers adapt to these new business models, Sandis is committed to working with them to come up with product and service answers that are uniquely and individually adapted to their specific way of doing business within this new world. This includes providing print and design services. It also includes offering products that span the price range from inexpensive through to high end products for the very discerning of customers – specifically within the “digital” albums product range. Of course, we continue to offer our highly popular Royal Bound traditional matted and slip in albums, and over time our intention is to expand this range.
